Use water-resistant activated carbon to avoid high temperature as much as possible, because high temperature will reduce the adsorption capacity, and the adsorption effect will decrease due to temperature rise. At the same time, avoid the high dust content in the gas, because the tar dust mist will block the pores of the activated carbon, increase the wind resistance, and reduce the adsorption effect.
In this case, a dust filter device must be installed in front of the water-resistant activated carbon to increase the service life.
